I’m Sophie, a single mom of autistic twins. I have firsthand experience with the constant weight of care-giving. I face emotional overload and the quiet exhaustion that comes from always being “on.” I’ve dealt with autistic burnout. It has affected both my children and me. I understand how isolating it can feel. There’s no guidebook for calming the chaos.
This space was born out of survival and grew into purpose.
Calm Within Chaos is not just another mental wellness blog. It is a neurodiversity-inclusive resource hub created for moms of autistic teens and the teens themselves. Every tool, routine, and strategy shared here is designed to support different nervous systems and real lives. This is true whether a brain feels anxious, overstimulated, scattered, or simply worn down.
